Meredith Salenger

Salenger loved performing for her family and friends as she was a young child. Her mother invited her to her first acting class at the age of eight years old. Her first performance was a'singing, dancing orphan' in Annie John Huston's feature film. Salenger was also a part of numerous commercials on television. Salenger was the first actress to appear in the Disney film The Journey of Nattygann with Ray Wise and John Cusack. The film won her the Best actress in a Drama nomination at the Young Artist Awards. The actress starred in four more films before the age of 18. These included A Night in the Life of Jimmy Reardon (1988), The Kiss (1988), and Dream a Little Dream (1989). Following her acting career, she enrolled at Harvard to continue her education. Salenger resumed her acting career upon her return to Hollywood with credits including Lake Placid as well as The Third Wheel. Salenger also appeared in independent films like Sparkle & Charm and Quality Time. Buffy the Vampire Slayer's 1998 episode included Salenger. The song she recorded was called "Flow Through Me" featuring Hush and Koishii. Additionally, she was part of the background in the Counting Crows video "Hanging Around". Salenger was one of the Dawson's Creek film critic Amy Lloyd in two episodes from 2002. She also appeared as a guest on Cold Case as Sloane Easton as the victim of the episode "Ravaged". Salenger had a cameo in the Disney film Race to Witch Mountain in 2009 in which she played a television reporter named Natalie Gann. Salenger has been the voice of many characters in Cartoon Network's Star Wars: The Clone Wars, including Jedi Padawan Barriss Offee and Ione Marcy during the second season, Che Amanwe Papanoida during the third season as well as Pluma Sodi during the fourth season. She also acted as Lisa Sanders in the one-hour Nick at Nite drama series Hollywood Heights which lasted 80 episodes, as well as several characters in Mad and Robot Chicken television series. Additionally, Salenger voiced a Nightsister ghost in the season three episode of Star Wars Rebels. She was portrayed by Elias Koteas and Virginia Madsen in Jake Squared, as well as Jennifer Jason Leigh.
