Rosanna Pansino Bio

Pansino made her debut appearance on television as an contestant on the second season of VH1's Scream Queens, a reality show in which the winner was awarded a character in one of the Saw films. She finished in 9th place. Pansino went on to pursue a career in acting and appeared in small roles on shows like Parks and Recreation and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. She began her YouTube channel after being inspired by a couple of her colleagues who also had a presence on YouTube and began making videos in order to become comfortable in front of camera. Her baking channel was launched after she filmed the process of creating themed treats at a event, and quickly gained the attention of others. The first baking videos gained a loyal following and viewers started to ask for more. Pansino created the Nerdy Nummies series because she did not have a similar show on television or on the Internet. In the end, she admitted that her agent had given her an ultimatum during the early days of YouTube. She was working as an actress and was forced to pick between acting or YouTube. Despite the risk she took in the moment, she maintained her resolve to stay on YouTube. In the year 2015, Pansino stated to Cosmopolitan that she didn't earn any revenue through YouTube at the time. It was possible, but it wasn't anything I was making money from. I decided, I'm going for it. I'm not letting YouTube go. My agent will fire me. He did. Then I poured 100 percent of my time and my money in my channel. I was working at my channel for a year before I started making money. I was just living off my savings. I lived in a small apartment that could accommodate six people, and three bedrooms.
