Rosie Huntington Whiteley's acting debut was in 2009 in a short film where she played a girl who is unable to remember Valentine's Day. In 2011 she made her debut in a feature film, playing one of the main roles in the sci-fi action film "Transformers: Dark Of The Moon. The film, based on the characters from the well-known toy line "Transformers' was the third instalment of the 'Transformers film series. The film was directed by Michael Bay and starred Shia LaBeouf (actor), Josh Duhamel (actor) and John Turturro(producer), Tyrese Gibson (producer), Patrick Dempsey, Kevin Dunn, Rosie Huntington Whiteley and Patrick Dempsey. The film was created on a budget of less than $200 million and earned over $1 billion globally. It's currently the seventeenth highest earning film of all time and was the fourth in the year of its release. The film was nominated in three categories for the Oscars. Despite the film's success, Huntington-Whiteley's acting skills were met with criticism. She was also nominated for the Razzie Award for the Worst Supporting Actress. Next, she appeared in the action movie "Mad Max: Fury Road", which George Miller co-directed, wrote and produced. It was the fourth installment of the Mad Max franchise, following the films 'Mad Max' (1979), 'Mad Max 2' (1981) and 'Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome' (1985). The film was praised by critics for its high quality. The story was about the life of a policeman in a dystopian Australia that is currently suffering from social decline and a deficiency of petrol and water due to conflicts.
