Sadie Elizabeth Sink Bio

Sadie Elizabeth Sink was born on the 16th of April in 2002. She is most well-known for her character Maxine "Max" Mayfield on Netflix's Stranger Things and has also appeared in Blue Bloods and The Americans. Sink has also been a part of Broadway with credits such as Annie and The Audience. In 2009, due to her zeal to recreate Disney's High School Musical with her brother, Mitchell, when she was seven years old her mother decided to send her off to classes in acting at an area theater that was located in nearby Houston. This resulted in the opportunity to take part in a Broadway audition and a part in the 2012 production of Annie at the age of 11 years old. To prepare for the role, she attended dancing lessons and received vocal lessons. She was initially the standby for all the orphans until the lead character left, wherein she began playing the title role for several months before ending the show as Duffy and an understudy to Annie. While filming the drama movie The Glass Castle, she was very close to Woody Harrelson, and particularly with his daughter Makani. While she was already a vegetarian before Harrelson and her family encouraged her to go vegan. She was the character Maxine "Max" Mayfield on the character from the Netflix original character on Stranger Things in 2017. In 2018 she co-starred with Rooney Mara, Sia, Joaquin Phoenix and Kat von D to narrate Chris Delforce's animal rights documentary Dominion. She was honored with the 2018 Award of Excellence in Narration by Hollywood International Independent Documentary Awards for her contribution to the documentary.
