Abbie Cornish is an Australian artist and actress. She started modeling at the age of 13 and had her first acting gig at the age of 15. Her roles in films as well as television shows followed. Cornish is well-known for her roles as the courtier Bess Throckmorton in the historical film 'Elizabeth: The Golden Age'. She also played the heroin addict in the film 'Candy,' Lindy in the sci-fi thriller 'Limitless' , and Fanny Brawne in the biopic "Bright Star.". Her TV roles include "Outriders" and Marking Time'. As a singer and rapper, Cornish has been performing since 2000 under the stage name "MC Dusk'. Born in New South Wales, and was raised by three siblings and a brother. Her parents divorced when she turned 16. Although the divorce was a difficult time for her, Abbie managed to get over the trauma and focus on her new career. The Australian beauty is a great pianist and guitarist, but she loves acting more than any other thing. Cornish is a vegan who sticks to her beliefs who is a staunch advocate for animal rights. Cornish can also be found contributing to animal rights organisations. Abbie Cornish was born in Lochinvar, New South Wales on August 7, 1982. She is the second child of Barry Cornish and Shelley Cornish. Isabelle Corish is her older sister and is an actress. The actress had a romance with Ryan Phillippe, an actor she was with between 2006 and 2010.
