Annie Wersching Bio

Annie Wersching, born March 28 1977, is an American actress , best recognized for her part in 24 and the voice acting that she provided for Tess in the game The Last of Us. Wersching was born in St. Louis, Missouri and was raised in the city. She graduated from Crossroads College Preparatory School, St. Louis' Central West End in 1995. In her early years she participated in Irish dance, and was a part of the St. Louis Celtic Stepdancers. Millikin University gave her a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, which she earned in 1999. Wersching began her acting career by appearing as an extra on Star Trek: Enterprise. She continued to appear in guest roles on shows like Charmed, Killer Instinct and Supernatural. She played the role of Amelia Joffe, a recurring character in ABC Daytime's soap show General Hospital from March 2007 to November 2007. Her other credits in theater include Victory Gardens, Marriott Lincolnshire and Utah Shakespearean Festival. Wersching has also been seen in a variety of guest roles on television shows like CSI, NCIS and Rizzoli and Islands Hawaii Five-0 and Body of Proof. 2014 saw her becoming a regular series character on Bosch, an Amazon Prime crime drama Bosch. Wersching played catcher for the National League during the 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends, Celebrity Softball Game and 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends. Wersching was also the voice of Tess in The Last of Us on PlayStation 3. The character was teased on Geoff Keighley's Twitter account before she was finally made public in the story trailer seen on Spike Video Game Awards on December 7, 2012.In September 2021, it was announced that Wersching was to play the Borg Queen in the second season of Star Trek: Picard.
