Summer Bishil Bio

 Summer Bishil was a Pasadena, California native. When she turned three years older, her family members and her moved to America. Summer was educated in American as well as British schools, while her family was living abroad. She returned to Pasadena just before her birthday, which was on 14th September. Summer was just five years old when she fell in love with acting and took her first acting class. Nine months later, she signed with an agent and a manager and began to pursue her goal full-time. When she isn't working, she attends college and is studying for her degree. Was among the young celebrities who were featured in the cover of Vanity Fair's article, "Hollywood's New Wave: The Hottest Kids in Hollywood" in August 2008.Was selected as one of the "Ten actors to Watch" by Variety (2007).Nominee for Best Actress - Spirit Award. Bishil started acting lessons at the age of fourteen. Within one year, she was given a contract by a manager and agency. Bishil started her career as a character on the Nickelodeon television show Just for Kicks. After that she was signed to an agreement with a manager and an agency. Her breakout role was in the film of Alan Ball, Towelhead. It is an adaptation of the book of the same name. Dana Stevens, a Slate critic, claimed that "Her performance in a movie that , despite its noble intentions is completely fake as well as embarrassing and like an extended PSA regarding inappropriate touching is the truthful thing." Bob Strauss writes for many Los Angeles newspapers and states that Bishil "...is one of the most natural film actress ever. In an article in the 12th of September Los Angeles Times review, Gary Goldstein stated that Summer Bishil is the "...newcomer, gives an enthralling and confident performance as Jasira. In 2009, she directed Wayne Kramer's Crossing Over movie starring Harrison Ford, Ray Liotta, and Ashley Judd. Jay Reiner, Associated Press, appreciated her performance. The film was a part she was cast to play Azula in M. Night Shyamalan's 2010 film The Last Airbender, and was planned to be the protagonist of the planned , but not yet produced sequel.
