Bonnie Wright
Bonnie Francesca Wright, born 17 February 1991 was an English actress. She is also a director, model, activist, and actress. Wright is most famous for her part in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. She remained in the role for 10 years before moving on to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 (2011). Following the series, Wright appeared in a number of independent films, including Before I Sleep (2013), The Sea (2013), and After the Dark (2014) which received mixed reviews. Wright was the stage's first lead character in Peter Ustinov's The Moment of Truth at the Southwark Playhouse in 2013.Wright graduated from the University of the Arts London in 2012 with a bachelor's diploma in filmmaking. After that, she established her own production company, BonBonLumiere, and began making short films. Her first film she directed was the coming-of-age drama Separate We Come. Separate We We Go (2012). This film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival to high critical acclaim. Wright also directed Know Thyself (2016) starring Christian Coulson and Sextant (2016). Both films explored emotional and natural landscapes as their themes. Wright's three-part series Phone Calls, which was first shown at the Tribeca Film Festival 2017, comprised three episodes. The film was released in Medusa's Ankles (2018) featuring Kerry Fox and Jason Isaacs, that is based on A. S. Byatt's The Matisse Stories. She also directed music videos for Scarlett Johansson, Pete Yorn and Sophie Lowe. Wright is well-known as an environmental activist. she also serves as an ambassador for two charities: Greenpeace and Lumos.
