Paula Faris
Paula Faris, an American journalist, was
previously an anchor for television at ABC News. Her most well-known work is
her role as co-anchor on Good Morning America Weekend from 2014 to 2018 and in
her role as co-host on The View from 2015 to 2018. Before that she was
co-anchor for America This Morning (World News Now) as well as America This
Morning (America This Morning). After graduating, she worked in several
communications-related jobs including an operations position at Mills/James
Productions in Columbus, Ohio. Due to the lack of TV opportunities she worked
in radio sales. She was hired as a WKEF/WRGT production assistant, and later
became a anchor and reporter. She was the weekend anchor and weekday sports
anchors at WCPO TV, Cincinnati, between 2002 and 2005. The contract was
canceled and she became a reporter and anchor for NBC affiliate WMAQ-TV,
Chicago, from November 2005 until December 2011. She was employed by ABC News'
news division in the month of December. She first made an appearance on ABC News
on World News Now and America This Morning on January 2nd 2012. She was a
journalist and substitute for Good Morning America during this period. Then she
was promoted to an New York-based reporter on the entire ABC News programs. The
program was not able for her to get to the last episode of World News Now or
America This Morning. It was on January 22 the 22nd of January 2013. Following
the time that Bianna Golodryga was transferred to Yahoo!, her debut as
co-anchor of Good Morning America Weekend was scheduled for August 9, 2014.
News. On August 25, 2015, ABC announced she would join The View as a co-host
for season 19. It was revealed on August 3, 2016 that she was renewed for for
the twentieth season. Season 21 also got renewed thanks to her hosting duties
as co-hosts. In the 21st and 22nd seasons she was mainly on screen during the
program's Friday episodes.
