Sarah Chalke
Sarah Chalke was conceived in Ottawa,
Ontario, Canada, 27 August 1976. Angie Chalke, and Doug Chalke are her parents.
Sarah is the middle of two siblings, one older, Natasha Chalke, one younger,
Piper Chalke. Sarah's acting debut was in City Boy (1992), which was a
TV-produced movie. Following her debut film Sarah was a candidate for the role
as Becky on Roseanne (1988) in 1993. Following the time that Alicia Goranson
left the show to go to college, the show was searching for someone to replace
her. Sarah completed her high school degree in 1995 and began filming the
1994-1995 Roseanne (1988) season. In 1994, Sarah co-starred in the film Ernest
Goes to School (1994) alongside Jim Varney. In 1996, Sarah appeared in two
films: Robin of Locksley (1996) and Stand Against Fear (1996), where she was a
cheerleader with the name Krista Wilson. Sarah was invited to appear in a show
from 1998 called Nothing Too Good for a Cowboy. It was a year after Roseanne
(1988). It was based on the show Nothing Too Good for a Cowboy (2000), Sarah
also participated in the show. She replaced Becky's (1988) role from Alicia
Goranson. She stated that she would like to stop acting and go to college.
[2001] (1993-1997) She was Sara Gilbert's older sibling in the show Roseanne
(1988) but she's much younger in real life. Participated in 1999's CCMA Awards
ceremony, and was awarded the award for the most outstanding single. (September
1999) At the age of 8 appeared in Vancouver stage productions. Fluent in French
and German. She is a volunteer at an organization that provides care for
terminally ill children. Chalke likes cooking with her companions, particularly
Thai as well as sushi as well as playing the guitar. She also enjoys ski (she
is an instructor), kayaking, snowboarding, and reading. Her father is a lawyer,
as are both of her parents are mediators who also run an agency for child
adoption. Her parents took her to China in order to facilitate the adoptions of
multiple orphans.
